last week during a group therapy appointment i was unable to speak for the first two hours but when we all got to pick a song for the therapist to play for everyone at the end, i was able to escape feeling trapped in my sadness when i was told to pick an “uplifting” song. i feel like everyone else picked songs like chappel roan and ariana grande and stuff like that (Im gonna keep my opinions to myself) buuuut i went last and hearing this song and knowing everyone else was hearing it too / being exposed to it made me smile so big. and then everyone started to compliment my smile and i was like thankss;) :*
